Our members include many of the nation's largest and most established multi-housing laundry operators. We are committed to growing our membership in a way that strengthens and enhances our organization for everyone involved.

enriching the lives of our members

“As the third-generation representative of our family business, I have found that MLA offers a valuable network of like-minded individuals. MLA provides a unique opportunity to engage with peers who understand the intricacies of our unique industry.

From a third-generation perspective, I appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with others who are also carrying forward their family legacies and actively integrating technology into their operations and growth strategies. In a business environment that continually evolves and pivots, witnessing industry adaptations firsthand is incredibly advantageous.

An MLA itinerary typically includes educational sessions, networking opportunities, and travel to distinctive locations along both the East and West Coasts. MLA not only establishes and enhances professional relationships, it is a platform that understands the challenges of our industry.”

BENEFITS OF BELONGING

Our number one priority is to provide value to our members. This happens in several ways, including:

  • MLA hosts two signature events each year. Typically, though not always, our Spring Conference is held in the eastern U.S. and our Fall Conference is held in the western U.S.

These events are known for excellent programs, including professional speakers, and exceptional networking opportunities. The majority of our members come to both events each year and some have been doing so for decades.

Visit our events page more information about upcoming events.

  • Led by our government relations committee, our organization monitors current events and legislation related to our industry to ensure our members are correctly represented in important discussions.

  • We know that multi-housing laundry isn’t the most well-known industry out there. While that’s not a problem, we do think it’s important for people to understand the value of what we do. This is why we make sure to post stories about our members on this site, and work to communicate the value of multi-housing laundry operations when possible. After all, studies show that our operations are more sustainable than providing each and every resident in an apartment building with access to an in-home washer and dryer. When compared apples-to-apples, our operations save both water and electricity.
