About Us

one of a kind

The Multi-housing Laundry Association (MLA) is the North American trade association for operators (we call them route operators) and supplier companies (a.k.a. allied members) that provide professional laundry services for the multi-housing industry. For us, the multi-housing market primarily includes apartment buildings, condominiums, and dormitories.

Founded in 1959, MLA is the only national organization of its kind and functions as a clearinghouse for new ideas within the industry.

MLA member companies believe laundry rooms should be seen as an amenity that can attract
new residents and keep current residents happy.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Multi-housing Laundry Association is to work for a favorable legislative and regulatory climate for the industry, facilitate the exchange of technical and business information among members, and demonstrate the sector's value to target markets.

Simply put, we work together to ensure our industry is the best it can be for users, facility owners, and member companies.
